Petit Théâtre
In the courtyard of the Château de la Verrerie, a former royal crystal works that is now a château, are two conical towers that once housed the glass-melting furnaces. One of them was converted into a theatre in the early 20th century to welcome guests from the Schneider family, who owned the château and the Creusot forges. Its architecture and décor are inspired by Versailles.
The Petit théâtre can be visited as part of the guided tours included in the admission ticket for the Musée de l'Homme et de l'Industrie or the Pavillon de l'Industrie at the Château de la Verrerie.

From 03/03/2025 to the end of June and from September to November (excluding the spring and autumn school holidays), guided tours at 2.30pm and 5.30pm.
Spring school holidays (from 05/04/2025 to 04/05/2025) and autumn school holidays (from 18/10/2025 to 02/11/2025): guided tour at 12 noon and 5.30pm. Closed on Tuesdays. Closed on 01/05/2025 and 01/11/2025.
In July and August, guided tours every day at 12 noon, 3pm and 5pm.
Closed in December.
