All the charm of a private collection, displayed in the beautiful 17th-century Hôtel Lantin, the family home of Jeanne and her brother Maurice Magnin, both enlightened art lovers. The combination of paintings, offering a vast panorama of foreign schools (Flanders, Holland, Italy, Great Britain, etc.) and French schools from the 16th to the 19th century, sculptures, furniture and objets d'art, enhances the intimate character of this very special museum, which was created in 1938 and became a national museum in 1947.
The Musée Magnin has been free to visit since 8 July 2024.
