La Petite Montjoie - gîte de charme face à Vézelay

This charming village house is located right next to Domaine La Croix Montjoie, near Vézelay. We completely renovated it in 2024, combining the nobility of old materials with the comfort of modern facilities. From its terrace, you'll enjoy a magical view of the Vézelay hills and the Cure valley. You'll be staying in our village, in the heart of a preserved site, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, at the foot of our vineyards, in a calm and rejuvenating natural setting.
The three-storey house features a bright, open-plan living space on the ground floor, with a cosy lounge leading on to a modern, well-equipped kitchen. It opens onto a terrace facing Vézelay, where you can enjoy breakfast, coffee or an aperitif in front of a dazzling view.
The garden adjoins the house and is an ideal place for reading, afternoon tea, playing with the children or a siesta in the shade of the cherry tree.
The three bedrooms offer high-quality hotel bedding. All three have queen-size double beds, and in the third we have added a single bed. The bed linen comes from a fine French house, and the linen curtains gently filter the daylight.
The furniture is either vintage or comes from our family history, and the photos on the wall are from Sophie's personal collection.
Each bedroom has a modern en suite bathroom.
Bed linen, towels and cleaning are included.

The basilica and village of Vézelay, a UNESCO World Heritage site, never cease to amaze!
But off the beaten track, the surrounding countryside and villages are well worth a visit: little wash-houses, remarkable churches, walks through the vineyards, invigorating rivers, the forests and lakes of the Morvan... will all be part of your stay.
