Gîte d'Etape Communal

Situated in the heart of the village of Larochemillay, in the Morvan Regional Nature Park, 20 km from the spa town of Saint-Honoré les Bains and close to the GR 13 and Mont Beuvray, the local gîte d'étape is happy to welcome you from 1 April to 31 December inclusive.

Formerly the 19th century Maison de Régisseur, this building was once reserved for employees of Château de La Roche. From 1942 until the years following the end of the war, it housed the offices of SOCOCAR, a company that manufactured charcoal. Today, to our great delight, it has been converted into a communal stopover gîte. With a capacity of 20 beds, the gîte d'étape et de séjour has been awarded Gite de France no. 578 with 3 "épis" stars, and can accommodate people with reduced mobility (one bedroom on the ground floor with WC and washbasin).

Ground floor: A kitchen including a cooker, two fridges, a microwave, cooking equipment, two coffee makers and an electric kettle, crockery for 20 place settings, a large dining room with television, a bedroom accessible to people with reduced mobility (1 single bed and a shower area, washbasin), a WC, accessible to people with reduced mobility.
First floor: One bedroom with 6 single beds (Bedroom n°6), One bedroom with 3 single beds (Bedroom n°5), One bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 double bed (140 cm) (Bedroom n°4), One bathroom with 2 showers, 4 washbasins and 2 toilets.

Second floor: One bedroom with 4 single beds (bedroom n°3), One bedroom with 1 single bed and 1 double bed of 120 cm (bedroom n°2), One bathroom with shower, 3 washbasins and toilet.

Outside: 3 garden tables with benches, Parasol, Barbecue, Clothes line, Bicycle shed (cellar).
