Windmills circuit

Starting at the church (1) go west and discover the Brionnais countryside with the foothills of the Auvergne in the distance. Going down towards Les Cantiaux you will come across the Charolais Cattle breeding pastures. Continue in the direction of Plany Mill (2). Take the lane to follow the Beuratte Stream (3). Pass into the hamlet of La Beuratte (4). Cross the woods of La Beuratte (5). Go up in a northerly direction to the ancient quarry site.
When you arrive at the intersection (6)of two paths you will be at the cardinal point of the villages of Dyo, Saint Symphorien-des-Bois and Saint Germain-en-Brionnais.
At Point (7) a tarmac road, continue to ” Les Pierres” and cut across the old pathway which used to link up with the Chateau d’Amanzé au Prieuré.
Leave” Les Pierres”; coming down to the cemetery you can see the Charolais countryside and Mount Saint Vincent on the horizon (8)
Finally, your ramble will terminate in front of the Church, which we invite you to visit!
