CHARNAY-LES-MACON

This area has two different identities. The city side, where nature is present and seen as a vital need. The town maintains several parks and flowers many areas open to the public with vegetation adapted to their use and environment. The countryside, where the existing landscapes are preserved and bordered by the Voie Verte. The town has a rich heritage, with wash-houses, Romanesque churches, etc. The landscaping of the green spaces plays a full part in enhancing this built heritage by acting as a backdrop to it.
