ALLERIOT
Traditionally a farming area, Allériot is blessed with lush greenery. There are many walking routes to discover its heritage. New footpaths and farm tracks have recently been laid to encourage visitors to explore the banks of the Saône. The centre of the village, built overlooking the River Saône, boasts a church with its glazed-tile bell tower, a completely renovated vicarage that has retained its original appearance with its glazed brick arches, a town hall in a historic building, a wash-house, etc.
Along the many walks available, its outlying hamlets will charm you with their charms, their châteaux and their wash-houses. The calm and welcoming banks of the Saône are also ideal for fishing.
